Today (1 April 2022) marks seven years since Walker Scott Ireland opened its doors for business.
In the last seven years, we have been treated to a huge variety of property sales and lettings instructions, from one bedroom flats to prime country houses; or from small rural plots to substantial acreages of farmland and woodland, both locally and further afield.
Our specialist prime residential; country house; farms and estates valuation service has developed, with us gaining RICS Registered Expert Witness status and appointment to the Tenant Farmers Commission panel of valuers. We have been privileged to have valued numerous multi-million pound properties throughout Scotland and Northumberland for a mixture of requirements, including estate confirmation (Probate); taxation; and expert witness purposes.
Added to that, a diversity of rural property consultancy instructions including Landlord and Tenant matters; compulsory purchase and compensation; lease renewals; and rent reviews; amongst others.
These have all combined to make the last seven years absolutely fly by.
