A valuation is a formal report, usually with a brief description of the property; a note of factors material to value; and an opinion of value or values.  It can express an opinion of the capital or rental value of a property and is normally required to assist in the purchase of a property; taxation; probate; pension and trust management; matrimonial dispute purposes, or in providing Expert Witness advice for court purposes.

Valuations and our internal valuation procedures are subject to regular RICS inspection and auditing. Our recent RICS audit (September 2017) summarised our practices as “Good”.
